Conforti was founded in 1912 , and has been offering highly professional consulting services on security systems for over one hundred years. The designing, production and installation of physical and electronic systems are conceived for the security of people, values and places. Its presence is based on 15 Marketing Agencies and 30 after-sale Assistance Centers throughout the country. The Company also operates with many European countries, Asia and the Middle East.
CONFORTI is certified according the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality system, and guarantees specific solutions for the private, professional, and trade market. It fully satisfies the demand on security through a wide range of products, such as certified safes from grade I to V of the UNI EN 1143-1 European rule, money transfer safes, devices for self-pay safes, security cabinets, certified and modular vault rooms, armoured doors, alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, specialized maintenance and more.
The Research & Development department has a strategic role in creating increasingly advanced technological solutions. This is why leading Italian institutions (bank institutes, oil companies, large retailers) have chosen Conforti as their security partner. For the Company’s centenary Conforti has created EXCLUSIVE SAFES , its top class line of luxury safes: highly personalized and technologically advanced products embellished with precious materials and beautiful handcrafted finishings. The UNI EN ISO 9001 rule represents the reference rule, it is recognized worldwide as the Quality Management System (QMS). The primary goal is the customer’s satisfaction through an organizational process focused on continuous improvement. The Quality Management System assures the ability of an Organization to structure itself and manage its own resources, while maintaining a high quality level in the production processes. The final aim is to identify and satisfy the clients’ needs through a cycle of continuous improvement.

It is the result of great passion and long research, including more than 700 pieces among keys, jewel-cases and coffers. 1912-1939
Conforti's history starts in a small artisan shop in the center of Verona
Silvio Conforti, the founder, sets up his own business after a contest prize for his masterpiece–safe. Despite the war, the activity continues and during the 20s the production focuses on the goldsmith market mostly around the Vicenza province, manufacturing safes up to 2 tons of weight. Towards the end of the 30s Conforti moves to the new siege of Porta Palio in Verona, which will remain the historic siege for about 70 years. The production covers a full range of locks and safes up to 11 or 12 tons of weight. Conforti is becoming a winning brand, the first collaboration with the Bank of Italy is now possible.
1940-1959
In 1949 Conforti becomes a joint-stock company, a strong reboot signal after the war production period.
Two new lines characterize these two decades: on one side bread ovens, and on the other side safes, armoured doors and the SESAMO safe, our major service-products.
1960-1969
The new plant in San Martino Buon Albergo, in the province of Verona, is now hosting the production unit.
The logistic change is not the only one; Conforti has strong propensity towards the forefront, and is getting prepared for the new technological challenges: the merging of security with electronics. For this reason along with safes there are other products like alarm systems and office furniture.
1970-1989
The integration of physical security with electronic security leads to significant results.
In this period the Conforti production line presents the new Armadillo, the armoured and modular compactable plant, and Micromega, the alarm unit with microprocessor.
1990-1999
The brand FISITRONICA® represents the new Conforti security project.
Control devices are now integrated with safes in operation management. FISITRONICA® security = physical security + electronic security + organizational security. Two more major events mark this decade: the Quality System Certification UNI EN ISO 9001; the new production line of Eurotrust safes, certified according to the UNI EN 1143-1 European rule.
2000
The turn into the new millennium marks the technological watershed towards an increasingly innovation-oriented world.
In this perspective, the Cash-in product line has been specially designed for money handling. The actual international market requires diversification, since the demand differs depending on the countries it comes from. This is the reason why Conforti has created its luxury line of EXCLUSIVE SAFES, the unique “tailored” solutions in leather, mother-of-pearl, briar and semiprecious stones. In 2012, the spread out of technological tools, which increasingly offers purchasing opportunities at any time and place, has led the Company to open an online shop, which enables access to a selection of low-cost products.
2002-2006
A four-year period marked by a major logistic change.
The historic headquarters of Via Saffi in Verona move to San Martino Buon Albergo in the province of Verona. In this prestigious establishment, the commercial and administrative offices merge together with the production unit in an area of 24,000 square meters. At the end of 2003 Conforti obtains the extension of the Quality Management System Certification according to the UNI EN 9001:2000 rule.
2006- 2011
Innovation first: through the internet it is now possible to connect all products containing electronics.
High technology and systems’ automation for self-service environments (banks, hotels, etc.). Home security is now enriched by exclusive solutions for the protection of valuables.
2012 il Centenario
The history of a whole century represents the accomplishments achieved through commitment and responsibility.
